The British Chiropractic Association
Chiropractors specialise in mechanical disorders of joints, particularly those of the spine, and their effects on the nervous system. Any impediment of the nerve supply to the body caused by slight mal alignments of the vertebrae can be the cause of pain, discomfort and loss of movement.

The Chiropractor assesses by palpation and corrects by gentle manipulative techniques known as adjustments to restore correct function. Self help advice will also be given to support the treatment.

  • Joint disorders including shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand pain

What happens on your visit?

Your chiropractor will begin your first consultation by taking a full case history and undertaking a physical examination. There are private changing cubicles and gowns available, you are also welcome to be accompanied during treatments.

Our chiropractors are trained to take and interpret X-rays to assist in reaching the diagnosis, although X-rays will only be taken if clinically necessary.

Chiropractic treatment is suitable for everyone. Active chiropractic treatment will address the cause of the pain and restore the body to full strength.
