What
will happen during my first visit?
Please arrive five minutes before your first appointment
as the receptionist will ask you to complete and sign
a form giving us relevant details. Your therapist will
then collect you from reception and guide you to the
treatment room.
A full case history will be taken and a standard orthopaedic
assessment done which includes functional movement and
palpation.
Your problem will be discussed and a plan of treatment
advised if appropriate. It is usually possible to commence
treatment on the first visit.
What do I need to wear?
The rooms are private, women are given gowns and men
robes if necessary. In most assessments it is necessary
to reveal the problem area. Suitable clothes should
be worn for exercise sessions.
What facilities are there in the clinic?
There are six treatment rooms and a gym studio area.
Street parking just outside and wheelchair access is
available. Shower and toilet facilities are available. |
